Google’s Learning Thermostat, measuring in 1.2 inches thick and 3.3 inches in diameter, comes in a sleek design with seven colors to choose from. It does need to be connected to your existing HVAC system though. You can install it yourself (it includes a screwdriver and a manual) or you can contact your trusted HVAC partner to install it for you.

App
The thermostat is powered by the same app that’s used for Nest Protect and Nest Indoor and Outdoor cameras. It’s fairly simple and easy to use. With the app you can adjust the thermostat even when you’re away. No more going back to the house if you forgot to turn off your heat! You can also set a schedule so that it’ll power you when you’re at work or on vacation. You can also set it to power on your heating system if the temperature suddenly drops lower than expected. These are just one of the many features that we have tried on the app.

The auto-schedule feature will remember your daily routine. It will create an estimated schedule for your home’s temperature so it will be just right when you come home.
